Drama Club is a year-long program. At Bells Ferry, our drama club students are bringing Disney’s The Aristocats KIDS to life on stage! Set in the heart of Paris, this charming 30-minute musical follows Duchess and her three clever kittens after they are catnapped by a greedy butler. With the help of the smooth-talking alley cat Thomas O'Malley and his swingin' band of jazz cats, they must find their way back home. Featuring classic, toe-tapping songs like "Ev'rybody Wants to Be a Cat," this is a high-energy show the whole family will love! By participating in this production, our young performers aren't just learning lines—they are building lifelong skills. Drama club helps students boost their public speaking confidence, enhance teamwork, and develop deep empathy by stepping into their characters' shoes. Come celebrate their hard work, creativity, and growing self-assurance!
Based on her excellent reputation for both theater and ability to connect with young actors, Amber Lopez was asked in 2014 to facilitate the after-school drama club at a local elementary school, and thus was born Little Actors' Studio. She was invited to expand the fun to Sedalia Park Elementary School in 2018 after a student changed schools and didn't want to go without Ms. Amber!
