Social Skills Club

The Social Skills After School Club is a fun, play-based program designed to help children build confidence, communication, and positive peer relationships in a supportive group setting. Through interactive games, hands-on activities, role-playing, and cooperative play, students practice important social-emotional skills while having fun with peers.

Focus areas include:
- Turn-taking and sharing
- Friendship and conversation skills
- Emotional awareness and self-regulation
- Problem-solving and teamwork

Our goal is to create a positive environment where children feel successful, supported, and encouraged to grow socially through meaningful play-based learning experiences.

Specialized Therapy Solutions was founded by Shanika Queeman to provide engaging, play-based programs that help children build confidence, independence, and meaningful social connections. With over 20 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist across school, medical, rehabilitation, and community settings, Shanika created Specialized Therapy Solutions to support children and families through fun, evidence-based learning experiences.

Our mission is to empower children through occupational therapy, social skills development, handwriting support, sensory integration, and community-based programs designed to strengthen functional and social-emotional skills. We believe children learn best through play, connection, creativity, and positive relationships.

At Specialized Therapy Solutions, we strive to create supportive environments where every child feels encouraged, successful, and confident in their abilities both at school and in everyday life.
