Challenge Island is a STEAM program designed to meet the needs of two entities: Today’s playful, imaginative child and tomorrow’s empowered, globally successful adult. Our Afterschool Enrichment Classes seamlessly integrate 21st-century skills into a fun and engaging learning experience. Students are introduced to the STEAMbuilding®Steps and are inspired to explore, create, and innovate using the engineering process.

Our hands-on challenges not only foster problem-solving abilities but also turn each session into an exciting adventure. STEAM Teams® of students work together to tackle challenges, using only a treasure chest full of low-tech supplies and their boundless imaginations,  fostering a love for STEAM beyond regular school hours. The STEAM Teams® Model not only cultivates a climate of acceptance and appreciation but also nurtures essential interpersonal skills, creating a supportive learning community.
