From circuit to soil, the new age of exploration has begun! “Dig & Drive 2.0” is designed for the grade 3-5 student combining the excitement of robotics using Sphero BOLT with the world of archaeology. Students become robotic explorers, navigating “ancient” sites by decoding clues, excavating unknown regions and collecting virtual and physical artifacts—all while learning programming, sequences, loops, trackers and problem-solving skills. The 2.0 version promotes navigation, geographical design, and outdoor exploration and comes with a student showcase of learning. All students are welcome – no experience necessary. Taught by Mountain View’s STEM Specialist, Dr. Z! Our Community Partners: Tellus Museum & Fernbank Museum.
