This fall, Drama Club invites students to step into the spotlight and discover the exciting world of theatre! Throughout the semester, students will learn the fundamentals of stage performance, including theatre vocabulary, storytelling, character development, movement, improvisation, and stage presence. Through engaging drama games, creative challenges, and collaborative activities, students will build confidence, teamwork, communication skills, and self-expression in a fun and supportive environment. Our club blends creativity with professionalism as students rehearse, create, and grow together while preparing for a final performance on December 4th for families and friends. Young performers will be encouraged to take creative risks, support one another, and shine both on and off the stage. This semester, we’ll be performing CandyQuest written by Mrs. Samantha, a colorful and heartwarming adventure about friendship, courage, and discovering the sweetness within yourself as a group of unlikely heroes journeys through a magical candy kingdom filled with challenges, surprises, and plenty of fun! Get ready to imagine, create, perform, and shine!
Impact Theatrics was born from a love of storytelling and self-expression. Our biggest goal is to provide a joyful, inclusive space where students explore who they are, imagine who they can be, and connect through creativity. The founding of IT was inspired by Rocky Mount's very own Mrs.E, who helped and inspired many to find their voice.
Theatre is about building confidence, sparking imagination, and learning to collaborate with compassion. Every child has a place and a purpose. At Impact Theatrics, we provide engaging, educational programming that nurtures creativity, fosters empathy, and celebrates each child’s unique voice. Through games, performance, and ensemble-based learning, we empower students to take the stage with confidence, work together with kindness, and shine—both in the spotlight and beyond.
