Monday Clubs

GUITAR CLUB (2ND-5TH)

Turn up the volume and rock out in Guitar Club this semester! Guitar Club gives kids in 2nd and UP the chance to have fun learning and playing guitar with friends. Your child will develop musical skills and express their own creativity! We bring guitars for every student each week. All your child needs to do is get excited about learning guitar! Our lessons are designed to help students in 2nd and UP quickly learn and enjoy playing guitar! With the help of our encouraging and highly trained teachers, your child will learn 5 new songs each semester.

LEGO® Engineering (3RD-5TH)* 2nd Hour Class

Introduce your child to STEM and programming with the LEGO WeDo 2.0 system. Using bluetooth technology, we can wirelessly program our bots to complete amazing challenges in engineering and coding. Each week is a new adventure in STEM, this is the prefect course to encourage continued learning exploring engineering, simple machines and technology.

Soccer & Running Club (K-5th)

We offer two clubs in one!  Running and Soccer Club with NST (National Soccer Trainers). The Running Club is game-based with lots of fun activities including sharks and minnows, different tag games, and relay races. Our Soccer Club plays lots of game activities and does 1v1, 2v2, and the numbers game. We make the club fun and challenging for all ages and fitness levels. (No weekend games - after school program meets one day per week).

Painting, drawing, pastels, murals, and clay! All ages & skill levels love our class! Trophy for every student! Frame worthy art piece every week! All high quality fine art supplies included! Ultimate Dance (K-2nd & 3-5th)*

Young dancers taking this class will learn to move and groove through various jazz, hip hop and contemporary movements. Each class includes a warm-up consisting of exercises to help dancers improve flexibility, strength, balance and agility. Students will learn progressions across the floor and explore myriad dance styles, learning proper execution of techniques and fundamentals while having fun. K-2nd Ultimate Dance will meet during the 1st hour of after school, followed by 3rd-5th in the 2nd hour. Provided by Ultimate Karate & Fitness.

Cakery Club (Fall 2nd-5th, Spring K-2nd)

From the science of baking to the skills of decorating, Cakery Club will teach students how to create edible masterpieces! Students will learn how to make doughs, batters and frosting. They will learn the techniques used in decorating cakes, cupcakes, cake pops and cookies using frosting, fondant, chocolate and more. They will have a blast decorating treats to take home while learning key skills. Students are asked to bring an apron, hand towel and a container (large enough for two cupcakes) to each class. All other supplies will be provided. Choose from Two Weekday Options!

Marietta Martial Arts's ASP Karate is a great way for students to get introduced to martial arts. In our weekly class, kids love the kicking and punching from Karate. But it's more than kicking and punching.....it's about life skills. Skills like Respect, Focus, and Self-Discipline (aka self-control).

Yoga & Mindfulness Club (K-5th)

Our Kids Yoga Club is equally profound and playful. We balance the serious benefits of yoga and stretching with a lighthearted approach and joyous spirit. Each class focuses on Social-Emotional Learning standards and includes yoga poses, games, mindset meditations, and guided breathing. Children learn mindfulness techniques to address their mental health and develop skills to help them navigate the ups and downs of life.

Coding Club (1st-5th)

The Coding Club meets in-person during After-School from the comfort of the computer lab!  The kids join us after school each week as we teach them to code awesome games and apps in Scratch. And this year we’re offering a special perk for the kids who attend our After-School program.  Each weekend we’ll host a Roblox gaming event online for the kids to join and have fun with their classmates, the Roblox Game Night is included in the price too! This should be a great year, The Coder School is here to help teach the next generation how amazing coding can be! Space is limited so SIGN UP soon before we sell out!

Spanish Club (K-1ST & 2ND-5TH)

Our program incorporates a variety of games, role play, writing, reading and music into our daily curriculum in order to generate and maintain the interest of each child.  We use a positive reinforcement classroom management style to build self-esteem and maximize student participation and productivity. Class size is limited to an appropriate student-teacher ratio geared toward a positive and effective interaction between the teacher and students, and optimal classroom management.  Student placement is based on grade level, ability and prior Spanish language experience.

Way2Cheer & Lead (K-5th)

Our program offers the opportunity for students to be exposed to and develop skills in the sport of cheerleading with dance and leadership infusion. Each session will provide students will cheerleading choreography & skills with a course in manners, etiquette, and social techniques aligned with the 21st-century curriculum.

LEGO Club (K-3rd)

Calling all Master Builders! 
Come join us in building jaw-dropping, awesome and head-spinning LEGO models! In this advanced club, children will use our signature “Project 1 Kit” to build the most complex of our over 1,000 different proprietary motorized models from our over 200 unit-themes. Kids will learn about important S.T.E.A.M. concepts and gain critical creative, cognitive, social and emotional learning skills through the power of LEGO building and hands-on problem solving. Through exploring their imaginations, creativity, and pushing themselves to build more challenging models each week, the students will gain confidence, curiosity and understanding in math, science and engineering. The semester ends with a STEM Graduation, where each child takes home a diploma and a mini-figure!

Ninja Trix (1st or 2nd Class)

This action packed program focuses on exciting drills that incorporate parkour in a safe and fun environment. Students will use running, jumping, vaulting, climbing and rolling techniques to move through obstacles smoothly while having a BLAST. Students will also increase strength and flexibility while gaining confidence, discipline and focus! Provided by Ultimate Karate & Fitness.

LEGO Robotics & Coding (3-5th)

Come step into the future with Bricks4Kidz in our LEGO Robotics class. Children will get to explore the far reaches of their imaginations and get hands-on experience with interactive and fun technology with EV3 Robots and Scratch coding! Kids get the opportunity to build their own LEGO robots, code their own video games, and watch them come to life by programming the robots’ actions and movements with our software to do specific challenges and tasks in fun in-class competitions! Listen to them make music with a LEGO guitar, create a racing rabbit, and much more! Each child will have the chance to create his or her own mini-figure that they will take home at the end of the session!

KIDZKEYS PIANO (K-3RD)

Join KidzKeys-Piano Club this semester and learn piano skills that will last a lifetime! KidzKeys gives kids in K-3rd Grade the chance to explore and express their own creativity - all while having fun learning piano with friends! We bring keyboards for every student, so all your child needs to do is get excited about learning piano! Our Color-Coded lessons are crafted to help K-3rd grade students quickly learn to read music on their own! With the help of our encouraging and highly trained teachers, your child will learn 5 new songs each semester.

Before Clubs Start

  • Every student participating in enrichment clubs after school must be pre-registered for ASP. This is to prepare for the possibility that a parent/guardian is late or unable to pickup the student at the time of dismissal. You will only be charged by Cobb County if your child stays in ASP. Download the ASP Parent Sign Up Guide Here
  • Please send a note with your child every day that they stay after school for a FunClubs' program.
  • Program instructors will meet students in the cafeteria and lead them to their classrooms.
  • If you would like to send a snack with your child, they may have it before classes begin (Nut-free only).

Dismissal After Clubs

  • Dismissal Time for most programs will be at 3:30pm (see email confirmation from your child's program instructor for more details).
  • Dismissal Location for car riders will be at the Front Car-Rider Line (if you are more than 10 minutes late your child will signed into ASP).
  • Students will only be signed out to their parent or guardian who must be on the pick-up list on that student’s registration. Alternatively, the parent or guardian may send a note authorizing an alternative pick-up person.
  • Students participating in ASP will be signed into ASP following club dismissal.

Cancellations & Absences

  • FunClubs after school programs will follow the public school calendar. Classes will not meet on scheduled holidays, teacher work days, early release days, etc.
  • In the event of inclement weather, FunClubs will follow the public school closing decisions.
  • When a class is canceled for any reason, FunClubs will attempt to schedule a make up class if the semester has additional weeks available (before the Winter Break or Summer Break).
  • If your child will be absent for any reason, please contact your school's front office and they will notify your child's instructor. Please note that we are unable to provide makeup classes for individual students who are absent.

HOW MUCH DO CLASSES COST?

The tuition for each class is set by the individual instructor. Program tuition can vary based on the materials provided, length of the class, or speciality of the course topic. To preview tuition rates and class schedules, click SIGN UP.

HOW LONG DO PROGRAMS LAST?

Time: Most after school enrichment classes last 50-60 minutes long. Some programs offer a 2nd session or longer class times depending on their lesson plans and course topic. Semester: Most classes meet once a week for 10-12 weeks, depending on the number of days available. In general, all FunClubs after school programs will follow the public school calendar. Classes will not meet on scheduled holidays, teacher work days, early release days, etc. To see the time, day, and schedule details for each class, click SIGN UP.

DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS OR DISCOUNTS?

YES! When you enroll your child you will have the option of paying in full or choosing our convenient 4-Month Payment Plan (available for most programs). Some participating classes also offer multiple discounts, including Early-Bird, Sibling, Multi-Season, and Referral Rewards.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY?

In most cases, after your child has attended class for the first time their enrollment is considered complete and their class spot reserved. However, FunClubs will follow the Standard Refund Policy for each Program Provider and consider requests on a case-by-case basis. We will not issue credits or refunds due to missed classes or scheduling conflicts arising from sporting events, other enrichment classes, etc. Every effort will be made to reschedule classes that are cancelled due to inclement weather.
